Prosecutors say the former FBI informant accused of lying about Hunter Biden admits he got his information from Russians. Alexander Smirnov told the FBI both President Biden and his son received five-million-dollar bribes from Ukraine, but last week Smirnov was charged with making false statements. His claims have been featured heavily in the House GOP investigation of Hunter Biden and the related impeachment inquiry into the President.       Over a billion dollars of student loan debt forgiveness is being announced by the Biden administration. Borrowers in the Saving on a Valuable Education or SAVE program who have made at least ten years of payments will be receiving an email from President Biden today. That amounts to an estimated 153-thousand borrowers.        Two men are charged with murder in the Kansas City Super Bowl parade shooting. Police identified who fired the bullet that killed the one deceased victim, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, but both men face the same charges. In addition, two teens face gun-related charges.       A U.N. resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza has been vetoed by the U.S. This comes as the Biden administration is facing increasing pressure from Democrats to rein in Israel's military operation in Gaza as the number of civilian casualties continues to rise. U.S. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the resolution would negatively impact sensitive negotiations to free hostages held by Hamas.        The ages of President Biden and former President Trump are being targeted by Nikki Haley. In an appearance on NewsNation's "The Hill," Haley argued both President Biden and Donald Trump are too old for another term, saying "there's a reason pilots can't fly after 65. There's a reason [in the] military, they make you retire before 65." Haley said Biden and Trump don't exhibit "normal behavior" and argued neither of them is fit for office.        The Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow. With no grand prize winner in Tuesday night's big drawing, a whopping 525-million dollars will now be up for grabs in the next drawing on Friday. The cash option on that works out to just over 247-million.
