The Federal Reserve is raising interest rates yet again, but mortgage rates are relatively unchanged. Freddie Mac says the 30-year fixed rate mortgage hovered just below six-point-one percent for the week that ended today. That's still a far cry from a year ago when the rate was sitting at just above three-and-a-half percent.       Many Americans feel the nation is going in the wrong direction. That's according to a new Gallup survey. There was a six point decline when it came to how satisfied people were about the way income and wealth are distributed in the U.S.       The New England Patriots want Tom Brady to retire as a member of the team. Speaking with CNN, owner Robert Kraft said fans are "clamoring" for the iconic quarterback to sign a one-day contract to retire as a Patriot. Brady played his first 20 seasons with the Patriots, winning six Super Bowls.       The Biden administration is resettling several Guantanamo Bay detainees. NBC News reports U.S. forces released Majid Khan to the custody of authorities in Belize. He's a former al-Qaeda courier whose sentence was reduced after cooperating with the government and testifying about being tortured by the CIA.       Former President Clinton is returning to the White House this afternoon. The Democrat will be there to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Family and Medical Leave Act, which he signed soon after taking office. The Biden Administration says the law "has helped Americans take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave from work."       The sale of a luxury car is setting a world record. A one of one Bugatti Chiron [[ boo-gaa-tee ka-ruhn ]] was auctioned off for ten-point-seven-million-dollars in Paris this week. The sale sets the world auction record for amount of money paid for a new car.
