Below are some sites we have identified that need volunteers. By signing up ahead of time for a specific site, we can spread out all our volunteers' efforts to accomplish the biggest amount in one day.

A new poll says President Biden's public approval is ticking up. The Politico-Morning Consult survey finds Biden at 42-percent approval, up from 39-percent last week. The latest poll follows congressional passage of the sweeping Inflation Reduction Act, which Biden signed this week.        U.S. hotels will cost travelers around 189-dollars per night this Labor Day weekend. Travel research group Hopper says while that number's up six-percent from last year, it's down from the summer peak price of 193-dollars. Hotel costs are one of the few places travelers can expect some relief as the summer travel season draws to a close.        The jury deciding Nikolas Cruz's fate won't see his brain scan during his penalty trial. The defense team for the convicted Parkland, Florida, school shooter initially wanted to use it as evidence, but backed out today in court. Prosecutors wrapped up their case earlier this month after listening to statements from families of 17 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School victims.        A six week abortion ban is being blocked by the South Carolina Supreme Court. It was a unanimous decision. This is despite lawmakers moving forward with a bill that would ban most abortions in the state.        Netflix's cheaper ad-supported plan reportedly won't allow downloads of content for offline viewing. That's according to a report by Bloomberg. Users of the ad-supported plan will also not be able to skip through commercials when watching programming.        Tennis fans will see Venus Williams compete in the U.S. Open. It was announced she had received a wild card entry. That comes as Venus' sister Serena earlier this month announced her upcoming retirement in a piece narrated by her that was published in Vogue.
