Autumnfest Looking for Food Row Participants, Exhibitors & Vendors


Woonsocket – In an effort to streamline the process, groups, organizations and companies that wish to be part of Autumnfest either as a Food Row Vendor, Exhibitor Showcase Vendor or as an Artisan Vendor can now visit the Autumnfest website ( and fill out an application.  It’s quick and easy.  This year the Exhibitor Showcase and Artisan Vendors will be able to pick the location of their booth.  This is on a first come / first serve basis.


The Autumnfest Exhibitor Showcase Coordinator, Dan Tvaroha, said, “Having a booth in our Exhibitor Showcase is a great opportunity to showcase what your organization or company does to help bring awareness and grow your business.  Exhibitors receive premium locations along the high traffic walkways which give you maximum exposure to get our guests into your booths with fun and creative ideas to engage the public.  Don't miss your chance. Reserve your spot to be a part of Northern Rhode Island’s largest festival."


Julie Larivee, Autumnfest Food Row Coordinator said, “Good food is the foundation of genuine happiness and that's what we are all about!  Autumnfest has all your favorite foods that you wait all year long for.  Applications are now open for our returning nonprofits and local businesses as well as new entities.  Priority always given to previous vendors but if you have a delicious culinary specialty, we want you to apply."

Officials are giving another update after a seventh person died as a result of injuries sustained in a mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois. Officials haven't yet released the names and ages of the individuals who were killed north of Chicago. They're questioning Robert Crimo the Third, who is accused of firing 70 rounds into a crowd during the 4th of July parade.       Stocks are closing mixed as recession fears weigh on Wall Street. A rally in the tech sector helped markets cut sharp losses earlier in the session. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 129 points to 30-967. The S&P added six points to 38-31 and the Nasdaq gained 194 points to 11-322.       A Georgia grand jury is subpoenaing Rudy Giuliani to investigate potential criminal interference in the 2020 election. Reports say Fulton County is also summoning other members of former President Trump's legal team along with South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. These subpoenas are the closest to Trump's inner circle as the 23-person special grand jury has summoned so far.       The mayor of Akron, Ohio, says he has a plan to lift the city's curfew. It was issued yesterday following vandalism by people protesting the officer-involved shooting death of Jayland Walker. Mayor Dan Horrigan says he'll rescind the curfew order if there are no safety concerns overnight.       New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is signing seven bills into law today as part of Gun Safety 3.0 [[ three-point-oh ]]. Under the package signed by the Democrat, gun manufacturers and retailers can be held accountable for unchecked marketing and sales of firearms. Meantime, Maryland Republican Governor Larry Hogan is suspending a state law that requires gun owners to prove they have "Good & Substantial Reason" to carry a concealed weapon.       There's something taking place in the Chicago area this week for fans of Lord of the Rings. A four-day Fan Expo Chicago convention starts Thursday in Rosemont. Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd will interact with fans on Saturday and Sunday.
